Reproducible skills for every AI agent

GSKILL installs, versions, locks, verifies, and restores SKILL.md skills across Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and more. Commit one lockfile, and anyone can reproduce the same skills, byte for byte.

Downloads the right archive for your platform and verifies its checksum.

Terminal window
curl -sSfL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/glapsfun/gskill/main/scripts/install.sh | sh

Then check it with gskill version. For install locations and release verification, see Install GSKILL.

Terminal
# In your project's Git repository:
gskill add github.com/glapsfun/gskill/examples/skills/hello-gskill --agent claude
git add -A && git commit -m "Add hello-gskill"
# On a fresh clone, or after deleting the installed copy:
rm -rf .agents/skills .claude/skills
gskill install --frozen-lockfile
gskill project verify

The skill’s content lands in your repository next to skills-lock.json, so a fresh clone already has working skills. gskill install --frozen-lockfile restores exactly what the lockfile records, and gskill project verify re-hashes it to prove nothing changed.

Reproducible installs

skills-lock.json records what you asked for and what was resolved. --frozen-lockfile restores exactly, or fails closed.

Verified integrity

Every install is checked against a recorded content hash, and gskill project verify re-checks on demand. Skill content is never executed.

Many agents, one copy

A skill is resolved and stored once, then shared with every agent that targets it through symlinks, or copies where links are not supported.

Built for CI

Every capability is a CLI command with --json output and documented exit codes, so pipelines can gate on drift.

Supports Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Antigravity CLI, OpenCode, OpenClaw, and Hermes Agent on Linux and macOS. See Supported agents.

Know what you want

The how-to guides cover one task per page: adding skills, updating, working offline, and gating CI on drift.
